Darin Challacombe, Ph.D., SHRM-CP
Darin Challacombe is director of talent development at Verisma. He has worked in the health information (HI) and release of information (ROI) fields for eight years and has been in education for 20+ years. Darin’s vast experience includes work in nonprofit, government, and private business spaces.
Darin serves as secretary of the Alliance for Health Information Operations and Standards (AHIOS), a trade organization of ROI vendors. He worked on the team to create the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) ROI Microcredential.
Darin currently serves as the Advocacy chair for the Kansas Health Information Management Association (KHIMA) and Inclusion and Diversity chair for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Georgia. Darin earned his Ph.D. in psychology from Northcentral University, and his master’s and bachelor’s in psychology from Fort Hays State University.
